Anyhow, since friends of the on-again couple say they've never been happier, we thought we'd celebrate their reunion with an homage to their best/cheesiest red carpet moments. Happy, PDA day! And behold, the highlights of their steamy four-month-long courtship!

+ Doug or no Doug, Paris is still in desp need of a new bestie! And tomorrow night, she'll reveal which New BFF wannabe is the winner. Tune in tomorrow at 10pm to find out whether Tiniecia or Stefanie will become Paris' new gal pal, plus vote for your favorite finalist now!

So, OK, here's the deal: Apparently, E! Online asked Dougie 'bout rumors that he and Paris broke up yesterday and he told them "that's not true. Everything is OK with us." Meanwhile, at almost the exact same time, Paris' rep confirmed the split to Usmagazine.com, saying they're "no longer together" but "remain friends" (and could you please "respect their privacy") and blahblahblah.

In other words? Doug's either a total liar (not implausible) or else he literally had no idea that Paris was kickin' him to the curb. (OMG, right??!)

Bottom line, Doug's been TTYNEd and Paris is as single as they come. Hmm, anyone else thinking spinoff? Paris Hilton's My New GF DOES have an awfully nice ring to it ...

We should've known Brit would go with flow. After all, she's not even jeal that Paris is doing another season of My New BFF! "The more the merrier," she told E! Online earlier this year when asked whether she'd have any prob sharing Paris with a newbie. We just hope the next girl (or guy!) Paris picks to join her posse is as chill as last year's winner!

For instance, Amanda, (above left), was clearly involved in some sort of mugging/running-with-scissors type incident, hence the frayed edges on her frock and deranged, coyote-like grin. Meanwhile, Nicole, (center), is allergic to skirts and attempting to conceal a weapon of mass destruction with her bangs. And then there's Stephen, (right), whose cheek dimples - and impish, Malcolm in the Middle-meets-Ken Doll grin - may make him the dark (but fair-haired!) horse in this glorified suck-up competition.

"Right now, they are thinking about a summer wedding. Maybe August, in the Bahamas," a source "very close to the couple" tells E! Online. "They really care about each other, so they're kind of thinking 'why not?'"

And it's not like Paris is denying it. Although there's no ring on her finger (yet!), she DID tell E! reporters that Doug was "going to be [her] husband," and that she's "really in love and really happy."

Natch, red carpet regulars Spencer and Heidi were on hand to fete their friend (and milk the photo op), as was fellow Hillzie Doug Reinhardt, who showed up with his main squeeze Paris Hilton.

Happy OMFB, Perez! Now, let's all raise a glass and toast to Mr. Hilton! And, of course, to Dougie and Amanda's awkward/inevitable "Ew, didn't we used to date?!" moment.

According to EntertainmentWise and the UK's Daily Mail, the highlights of the evening came when Doug toasted his negligibly better half by calling her the "world's prettiest girl" (awwww) and presented her with a new puppy (her 17th!) while she serenaded him by lip-syncing along to "Stars Are Blind."

And since these made-for-reality tv lovebirds don't seem to be going anywhere, we figured it was time to find out what you guys think of their coupledom. Let us know whether these two are sweeter than Splenda - or about one PDA away from lighting up your Hurl-o-Meter.
